If you are experiencing trouble with your SR78X you can either send your instrument back to SRS for service, or you can try and fix the problem yourself. If you wish to send the instrument back now click here.

If you wish to try and fix the problem yourself, the following troubleshooting guide may help you.

Troubleshooting Guide

Symptom 1 — Instrument is unresponsive to front-panel button presses

Try a power-up reset. Turn the power off, then while holding the Left Arrow (backspace) key down, turn the power back on. After two seconds release the Left Arrow (backspace) key. If this doesn't correct the problem the instrument will need to come back to SRS for service. Click here to get an RMA number.

Symptom 2 — I need to replace my disk drive with a USB drive
